British Bands

Ever since the Beatles, it seems that music has been different. Very often, new British bands or British styles have completely changed the styles that people listened to in other countries. I think that we owe all in "True Music" today to what British bands have played over the years. From rock to metal to pop, it seems that Britain was the leader in defining the direction of many styles. It's so hard to say that any certain British band is my favorite, but there are probably many out there with one British band/musician that they can say is their absolute favorite.

you are right. Britain in the 60s was the huge spot for rock n' roll. it was the gateway to success. if you were able to make it there, you were going to be big. Hendrix was shipped there to play before he did the US, but dont forget, he was BORN AND BRED AMERICAN.

i have started to take a notice of Australia. AC/DC was bred there, and the alternative band The Living End has a great guitarist. they are creating some damn good musicians there.
